DENVER (June 4, 2012) – Wazee Companies, LLC, a Denver-based company that provides electric motors and generators service, crane manufacturing and wind turbine service, announced today it has acquired a 40,000-square-foot industrial building located at 11575 Teller St. in Broomfield, Colo.  The deal includes three buildings and 6,700-square-feet of office space on the 7.23 acre lot.

The new facility will increase operational space for the crane division by nearly 300 percent.

Wazee began as an electrical company in 1921, then expanded into the Crane Service and Manufacturing business in 1961.  Wazee Crane provides overhead material handling solutions with service and manufacturing capabilities to 120-ton and 110-foot spans.  In 2007, Wazee added Wind Turbine service and support to its platform to serve growing demand.

“The acquisition and expansion signals and exciting time for Wazee Companies,” said Trevor Armstrong, president of Wazee Companies.  “In recent months we have expanded our electrical and wind divisions so we can better serve our customers in the Western United States.  The new facility will allow us to triple crane manufacturing to keep up with demand.”

The property is well situated in the northern part of the metro area with easy access to major highways and thoroughfares including US-36, 120th and 104th streets.  The structure was built in 1996 and renovated in 2003.  Wazee plans to be fully operational in the building this month.
