Wazee Companies is committed to quality, reliable service and workmanship in the markets of electric motors and generators, crane manufacturing and wind turbine service. Based in Denver, Colorado Wazee Companies, LLC provides electrical and mechanical solutions to aerospace, manufacturing, municipalities, mining, power generation, oil and gas and other heavy industrial customers through three business segments.

History
In 1921 under Colorado State electrical license #21 Wazee Electric began operations. Wazee Electric provides electrical design and installation, electric motor and generator repair, and an outside field service group who provides predictive maintenance and onsite repair.

After more than 40 years in the motor and generator business, Crane Service and Manufacturing was added to the service offerings in 1961 as the company continued to expand its name and customer base. Wazee Crane provides overhead material handling solutions with service and manufacturing capabilities to 120 ton and 110 foot spans.

In 2007, Wazee added Wind Turbine Service and Support to its platform in order to serve a growing demand for professional and reliable wind turbine service and support. Wazee Wind provides a wide range of wind turbine services including but not limited to generator, gearbox and electrical repair both up and down tower. Wazee Wind also offers many replacement wind parts and brushes, inventorying them in our Colorado warehouses.

In 2011 Wazee Companies acquired the thriving business of Washington based H&N Electric. H&N is well known in the Pacific Northwest as a leading provider of repair, maintenance and overhaul services for critical motors and wind generators. From its offices in Pasco and Spokane, Washington, H&N Electric serves an extensive list of leading manufacturing, distribution, power generation, agricultural and wind farm customers.

According to Trevor Armstrong, President of Wazee, “The addition of H&N Electric will significantly expand our wind generation maintenance capabilities, overhead crane/hoist sales and electric motor repair offerings.” The partnership has proven to strengthen Wazee Companies in a united effort to serve the three business segments.

Did you know? The word Wazee (Wah-zee) means "tall pine" in one Native American language. It was also the name of the Native American wife of one of the mountain men who settled in the Rocky Mountains in 1851. Most recently, the word is used to name a main downtown Denver street on which our business was founded in 1921.
